Stand Up for God

Who will speak out in defense of God? Who will protect the name of our Divine Creatress? Is it cowardly to praise God and then say nothing when God is slandered?

These are the questions that I defeat every day. It’s about taking action when you hear it, read it, see it. Truly, God shines upon those who are willing to take a stand.

God is the all-powerful Creatress of Heaven and Earth. God does not need a creation to defend the mightiest so why defend the name of God? Respect. Respecting Our Divine Creator and because you can. You must once you understand the vast magnificence that is Our Source.

Cowards fear offending humans or creations more than disrespecting the Almighty. smh Just how?

Being in the midst of blasphemy is like continuing to sit at a dinner table and a wealthy, famous host even after he has announced adding adrenochrome to the casserole. You love God. You stand in front of everyone and tell the host you will not eat his evil-begotten food. You get up and you leave. You do not stand to inform the host the contents of adrenachrome because he already knows. It’s a test for you. You proclaim the truth as a warning to the guests attending to give them the courage to leave and the clarity to understand that blasphemy is evil and completely rejected.

In the New Testament, Matthew 4: 1-11, when Jesus was tested in the wilderness, he rejected Satan’s temptation of food, invincible arrogance, wealth and worldly power. Jesus ultimately demanded Satan’s accountability to God by confronting each challenge, as prologue, with the statement “[i] is written” to confirm God’s authority.

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[b]”

Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”

Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]”

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[e]”

11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

There stood three people who responded to God. The first praised God loudly, the second not at all and the third with a measured and calm demeanor. However, when it came time to defend God, the first ran in fear terrified that he might be noticed, the second cared not, but the third fought valiantly for God’s name in word and deed ready for the challenge; anticipating the victory because of God’s grace.

Of the three, who is the greatest of these? Those who stand up and defend the name of God.
